I have been practicing Yoga since 1995 and earned an RYT certification in 2001 from Namaste’ Yoga in Royal Oak, MI. After teaching for a few years, I wanted to learn more about the science behind the mind-body connection and anatomy so I earned a post-graduate certificate from Oakland University in Complementary Medicine and Wellness. I am drawn to the traditional teachings of Yoga focusing on the mind, Raja Yoga, as well as the modern science that can explain how it works. I consider myself a lifelong student and feel honored to share my love of Yoga with fellow students along this humbling journey called Life.
